Had my Yeti warmed a little

Featured Replies

Went to see the very nice people at Shark Performance this morning.....

It has made quite a difference.....to say the least....well impressed

Thanks to Ben, Danny and Sam for even going the extra mile to collect my wife whilst the warming took place

Cool, do they let you know how warm it is? Hopefully you will see an improvement on your fully app too, although 39.7 is still quite good. We are on 41.7 on our 170 DSG but that is on MFD not real.

I don't use Fuelly anymore.....I'm doing just over 40mpg these days

How much for the warming?

Just Chip tuning or more?

Thanks

Those are good figures, particularly the torque. That's the quoted figure for the 170 stage 1. I had mine done on their dyno a few years back:

Stock

175 BHP

368 Nm

Stage 1

200 BHP

438 Nm

So you get a lot more of an improvement on the 140 than the 170!

My mpg went up a tiny bit after the remap, but only about 0.5mpg - as my shoes appeared to get heavier :)

I suppose the 170 is already using up some of the spare tuning capacity of the engine

That can be tweaked by someone with a VCDS cable & software. My 170 was very optimistic on the MFD initially, but it's now always within 1 mpg of the calculated brim to brim figure.

Anyone tweaked a 150ps tdi Euro 6 out of interest?
