Hi guys. I've finally gone and done it. Part exed my mk 3 Octavia combo 1.4 tsi for a 16 plate Fabia Monte Carlo 1.2 tsi 90, in black magic pearl with 17 inch alloys, and its fantastic. It's taken a few adjustments to get used to it but I'm so pleased I changed. The engine note is taking some getting used to, being very throaty and vocal. My 1.4 tsi was very quiet. I've also had to drop my speed considerably for the speed bumps on my way to work because my octy straddled them. All in all, I'm very happy with it. Next job is to fit some mud flaps. On another note, I can't seem to get Spotify working on CarPlay. I select a song but nothing plays, but when I check my phone it shows a song playing. Am I doing something wrong ?

Stop using spotify and use the superior Google Music - that works great!
