Well I'm new to the Octavia MK1 VRS family and happy so far, sort of ! The VRS we just recently bought had a number of issues but slowly getting sorted out. It has 166k on the clock so for £1200 can't be all bad. Love the engine which has already been treated to a 57i kit but the recirculating OE dump valve is very chavy and loud ? Ummm I feel a Forge 007 coming its way !

 

It has had the following replaced to bring it up to my standard and make the car more enjoyable.

 

Koni STR.T Suspension Kit (Lifetime warranty on shocks/5yrs on the H&R matched springs)

Lemforder Wishbones

Lemforder Droplinks

Lemforder Bottom Ball Joints

Lemforder Trackrod Ends

New Top Mounts Front/Rear

New Top Mount Bearings

Brembo Discs and Pads Front/Rear.

 

I have the following still to do . . . Oil, filter and spark change(already have an OE filter and some Magnatec 5W 30 with some Iridium plugs on the way).

Also going to change the shocking tyres on it. It's currently shod with some Wiray, Brinway and Nexen which are bad to say the least especially if God forbid a drop of rain hits the tarmac ! I also have to change the drivers side door lock mechanism, window regulator and find out why my rear wiper has decided to stop also . . . . I thought my Peugeot 306 GTi-6 was bad enough lol !

 

When I'm allowed to I'll put a thread in the Parts For Sale section with all my old suspension that's up for sale. Shocks, Springs front/rear, wishbones and few other little bits.
