Featured Replies

Evening all

Need a bit of help with this one! The fluid level in the wifes octavia is dropping slowly. Still have a pedal, had the car up on a set of ramps and cannot find a single leak underneath or visibly within the bay!

can anyone suggest where I need to check next?

many thanks

Clutch slave cylinder?

Can she still get gears OK and does it creep if left in gear with the clutch down for a while?

No problems going into gear and no creeping either apparently! :)

Just posted - is this about brakes or clutch?

You may a leak past the seals in your brake master cylinder into the brake servo. See https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/102027-brake-fluid-leak-between-brake-servo-and-master-cylinder-94-favorit/ on this problem and if you want a video see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfvwVWy82Bs about 9minutes shows the cylinder and its fitting into the servo
