Ordered a 1.5 tsi DSG , just been advised build week 40 , how long does the process take in weeks once one has a build date before delivery Thanks 

Consensus on here is about 4 weeks from BW to you. I asked this question recently and am too waiting for a BW 40 1.5TSi. Mines a DSG in Race Blue

I ordered 13th July 1.4 TSi DSG  (BW28) and was told BW 37. Tweaked my order August 11th (BW32) to get the new 1.5 TSi with DSG and my BW was delayed until BW40. Advised by dealer Wednesday 20th September that build week 40 has been confirmed by Skoda.

 

Now getting excited. Hope Greenpeace don't bugger-up Sheerness. Silly buggers don't realise that they're not all diesels

Thanks just looked at Email and its Build week 44 , so running a month behind yours . Dealer originally told me 16 weeks on the 1.5 dsg , so was assuming end jan 2018 .  Would be mega pleased if its before the end of this year , as i added the Winter pack 

Major change over the weekend , decided to change from Grey to the Race Blue , and added the Adaptive Cruise Control , after feed back on the site , also have the Winter pack which is Windscreen and Heated from Seats . Hope i now get a good confirmed Build date .

My current Octavia is Race Blue. Wouldn't be changing it if it was petrol but as I am doing less than 9000 miles a year now mainly in trips of a few miles I can't justify a diesel; will be sorry to see it go but eagerly awaiting the 1.5TSi build week next week (week 40) - I'm stupidly excited.

Just had my date confirmed as build week , 43 , so hopes i have it before christmas . Be interested to see a picture of yours when you take delivery . Cheers

Dealer confirmed today that my car is built and on its way to Emden. I'm hoping that delivery to me will be before 1st November which is 4 weeks from now as a worst case scenario. Secretly hoping by mid October

Looks like the Viking Diamond could be the ship; leaving Emden for Sheerness on the 8th October.

 

 Obviously a special shipment only carrying 1.5TSi DSG Race Blue Hatchbacks. 

Greenpeace are following the shipping movements too !!!
