Hello all,

Pick my 2003 Octavia vRS up this Thursday and this week seems to be the longest in my life so far, been converted by my father who owns an L&K Octavia.

Had a decent test drive in the vRS that I have bought and it blew me away, awsome car. Looking forward to putting my stamp on it so will be chatting with you all on the modification side of things when the time arrises, ( just bedding the wife in gently!!)

ps seen the debate on the the colour front, sorry guys but it had to be yellow!!

Hi everyone and can I say, what a pleasant lot you all seem! Done a few hundred miles in the car since Thursday, hence the lack of reply. It is completely outstanding, I love it. Only anoying thing is I checked all the tyre pressures after reading some of the threads on this site and thought I would check the spare, It has a bloody great nail in it!!!!!! DOH!!

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
