Citigo Accident Rebuild Capable?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if this Citigo is likely repairable?

I would do the work myself so would want to know if I would need any specialist help or if it could be a DIY project.

The car isn't very old, has not got much mileage and I would be willing to spend the time doing it.

I haven't got much experience in this area however i can tell that the bumper reinforcer is bent, this has led to both ends that it bolts into being bent, thought this was worth a mention as I do not know how much of the car they support or if they're easily fixed.

If more pictures are required I am happy to get more, thankyou for taking a look / any advice

(shame how this is my first post however I do have another citigo just in red)

Thanks.

As long as the beams aren't crushed it's repairable

Thats bent the chassis legs for sure, I'd say cat D write off tbh

that would need to go on a jig before you try anything, I'm sure it could be straightened.

That's bent enough that I'd say it needs a full re-shell or at minimum a proper chassis jig; either of those are probably enough to mean it's an economic write-off.

Welcome.

?

Does the passenger door close?

Possibly repairable by someone in the trade with all the gear and more than just an idea & economically so, but i would suggest that since you have to ask then maybe not repairable to a safe standard by yourself.
