Vrs Tyres with good grip

Featured Replies

My MK2 vrs has kumho ecsta which the Skoda dealer fitted. All this snow and I have realized how bad grip they have. Can you recommend some tyres with better grip please?

Any tyres would be better than them.

Khumo Ecsta AST in 205/40 R 17 are discontinued i think, but looking at them the tread is pretty much like Goodride SV Tyres i use in winter

and they are rather good in the cold, wet or snow.

32psi or so.

But what do you want to do,  buy 4 good tyres to replace them and dispose of them,

& is that to fit Winter or Snow Tyres just for the winter, or all weathers that will stay on all year.

Would you not be better buying a set of 4 wheels with winter tyres on that you might find advertised in Briskoda For Sales or someplace.

It's easier if they are all weather tyres, ideally.

I'll check the for sale section. Cheers

I liked Maxxis APII All weathers for the winter / snow, much cheapness, but i would not use them all year on a Twincharger.
