I have 2016 mk3 with Amundsen radio and satnav

 

Yesterday, all the Dab stations suddenly appeared as unavailable. Local reception is fine, home radios working fine, nothing reported by the BBC. 

 

I've tried rescanning and switching to FM and back. Nothing helps. 

 

The firmware is not quite current. The previous version. But it was working fine up to 2 days ago.  The issue is both with engine on and off, so is probably not a battery issue, though I am getting battery warnings in cold weather.

 

Any thoughts anyone?

Has the antenna plug slipped out of the back of the radio? This is what happened to mine.

The radio unit is in the glovebox, get some radio removal tools and pull the radio out. Make sure all the plug are attached, fish around to find any that may be unplugged. Be warned, they don’t give you much room to play with, the cables don’t pull out very far.

Strangely, they came back after a long drive.  Perhaps it was battery issues.

Strange indeed. Well, if ever they go again, it won’t hurt to know where the antenna plug is, and know that it’s not go the best design of clip to hold it on.

i had the same issue with all DAB going now reception is bad more on than off where as before it was perfect, i have no aerial issues
