Clutch master cylinder Oct 2

2007 Octavia 2 1.8 tsi manual 

I am not good at finding things in forums so this may have an answers already , I found an excellent piece on the Oct 1 clutch mech. 

My clutch does not work , the pedal is either up or down and stays in either position with no resistance in between .

the master cylinder is a little damp on the engine side .I have taken lower dash off and removed the three nuts .

questions how do I undo the hydraulic pipe , the fill tube looks easy . 

What checks can I do so I only replace what is Brocken
