Keep meaning to get a screen protector, seen them on Amazon/eBay tempered glass for c. 15quid any experience/thoughts ?

I don't see the point. It's not like a phone where you are carrying it around with you all day. I just use a glasses cleaning cloth and give mine a wipe every so often. Always looks perfect.

As above, wouldn't bother.

Just don't use any ammonia or alcohol based cleaning products on it and it should be fine as is. These damage/remove the anti-glare costing on the top layer of the display.

The screen shouldn't ever really come into contact with anything scratchy like a phone would anyway (pocket bits/grit, keys etc).

Putting a screen protector on will reduce the sensitivity so you may end up having problems selecting stuff especially while you are driving and have to keep more attention on the road.

I like the idea of a screen protector, but agree with all replies above.

As well, it MAY limit the effectiveness of the proximity sensor in the unit as well......
