First time today that I've wanted to use all 3 varioflex seats in upright position.... The middle one doesn't go all the way up like the other 2 because of the centre console, yet on the promotional video it has them all in line. Headrest has been removed, am I missing something? Doesn't seem 'simply clever' to me.

The middle seat has a concealed bungy that you hook around the driver's seat head restraint upright. This keeps it in place.

All 3 seats have this. The middle one has to be pushed down into a 'more closed' position to stop it hitting the centre console though.

The cord on the middle seat won't reach the headrest on mine, it's a good inch from it. This is after doing the extra move to get it upright and flat like the other 2. I've pulled as much as possible, it just feels like it's in it's end position. Ended up just tethering it to one of the bars on the seat behind driver which worked fine.

It does take some strength but on ours the cord does reach the driver's headrest - may just need stretching a bit

Unfortunately I think you may have to alter your drivers seat position to make up the difference.

I expect you're right but I don't think I should have to change my position each time. I'm 6ft so the seat isn't that close to the wheel anyway, not sure why they didn't just make the cord with a bit more give. Will just continue to tether to the other seat's bar.

my husband is shorter than you approx 5"10 so in theory his seat should be closer to the steering wheel than yours and ours does reach, it does take strength but we have lifted our seats a lot since we bought the car so maybe it just needs stretching, I suppose we wouldn't want them loose our the seats would fall down again.
