The car arrived at the dealer. 1.0 manual. Love the colour. Picking it up on Tuesday! Went to see it yesterday.:)

Picked up my Karoq today. :)

what I observed:

+ The engine. Very impressed with the 1.0 manual. Quiet and able.

- The start/stop system. Hit and miss - not very consistent, at low speeds it "thinks" I am about to stop when I'm not.

Overall very happy.

Isn't it so that with manual the engine stops only after you shift into neutral and release the clutch?

I guess it’s my driving style. I’m in neutral and releasing the clutch just before I come to a stop, using only the brakes to stop completely. So what happens is, lets say I am about to stop, I am already in neutral, the light changes. As I am about to put it in first gear and continue, the stop system engages. I drove it yesterday and it happened maybe couple of times.

Yep no coasting anymore unless you deactivate start/stop of course. Though I'm sure I read that unlike the old days coasting actually uses more fuel than not, so probably more beneficial to try changing habits.

That's y keep your clutch in and in gear. I love the auto handbrake

The squeaky door handles are a common fault, and reported over on the Kodiaq forum too. No known fix as far as I'm aware.

Where are you based?

Were the rear mudflaps fitted at the factory or by the dealer?

In Macedonia. Yes, they were factory fitted. Didn't even ask for it. :)

Yeah that's a shame. Beautiful interior ruined by cheap, plasticky and worst of it all - creaky door handles. My previous city car that I paid 7000 euros new, had better door handles.

Mine arrived yesterday, Just over 4 months of waiting. Picking it up on wednesday

That's an option - sports steering wheel (or something). Fancied the look and not too expensive addon. Around 80 £ if I remember correctly.

Oh and I didn't buy the car in the UK. So not sure about the specs you have. What I did notice with the specs offered in the UK compared to where I got it, you do get a lot of equipment as standard whereas I had to choose a lot of your standard equipment as addons. Also, because of that, the starting price in the UK is much higher that here.

That steering wheel is nicer, but doesn't have heating.
