Very fetching.

Below are my new polarised fishing sunglasses c/w built in 2 x reading panels so I can see close up for tying hooks / reading etc. Bifocal Polaroids - who knew? £15 on Amazon.

Also paid £15 for the Superb glasses. You probably can't tell from my photo but also wearing my VRS baseball cap that I bought for my previous car a 2017 VRS245 which makes up a part of my username on Brisky.:)

Looking at this pic again I've got to do something about the average fuel consumption. 24.9 mpg is due to short local trips & over use of the S mode 💨 :)

I noticed you had joined the 360 club. My best (or worst) so far over 11 miles was 18.4mpg and I can't print how fast I was going or I would incriminate myself. Sport mode is very amusing but not for BMW, Audi and Mercedes drivers.:tongueout:

Mundane one from me, but worth considering for those who haven't driven for a while. Took mine up the motorway and back to charge the battery in preparation for travelling to client meetings next week.

70 mph is quick if you haven't done it for a while! I used ACC to settle myself into things,  but will be doing the same trip tomorrow to get back into motorway driving. Stay safe all.

Yes I now have 360 horses. TBH, yes it feels different but not 80hp more than stock. I guess thats the very linear power delivery of the re-map & the fact it's going to all 4 wheels - not just 2.

Getting to the legal limit was all to easy previously but now, it's like engaging warp speed! Good to know you've got it if you need it. I may have to look into getting the DSG re-mapped to remove the hesitation when you stamp on the loud pedal.  And I must start using the Eco mode a bit more often - yeah right 🤣

I used to be an Audi driver (had an A6 Avant for 10 years) - but I saw the light. Audi & BMW are very common cars these days so are no longer appealing to me. I also get a nosebleed when a car costs more than my 1st house😡

Yeah my tipping point is based on the fact my first house in 1997 cost the princely sum of £42,500 so I can't go over that mental threshold........ever. A car shouldn't cost more than a house. The most my Dad has spent on a car was £14,150 on a Vauxhall in 2004.

My problem is that my first house (two up two down terraced in Watford) in 1980 cost £22k & I had to get an £18k mortgage. My disposable income was zero & I thought my world had ended. Back then I was driving a a company Cavalier Mk1 or Mk2  I think with free petrol & limited government tax hits. Those were the days. Now I have to buy my own cars so any car costing more than £23k triggers my inner "not on your frigging life mate" response. As such I'm limited to used 2-3 year old examples at 50% of original list.

With recent house prices, and I got mine 6years ago, my budget will stretch to a lightly used Ferrari 812 superfast.

Not that I would spend that sort of money...Because I don't have that sort of money lol

Yesterday I plastidipped the front skoda badge in black, then lacquered it.

Today i'm going over the rear badge and chrome lettering with the same.

I hope the weather holds out.

Phew - it's hot 🍺

That looks to be quite an undertaking. What sort of cost did you inure  & how long did it take? Was it worth the effort?

Looking great...

20mm front n rear.

It's Eibach springs, which I put in a while ago.

Ah, ok, thanks!

Maybe it's because of side skirts you put on, but to my eyes it looks like way lowered than 20 mm...

Yeah, likely the skirts r making it look more.

Mine has DCC, it definitely dropped 20mm as I measured before n after.

The more i look at those rims the more I like them.  I thought the vega's looks good but these look very classy.  Are they 19"s cos the look bigger, but that might just be down to the fact it's lowered a bit and your tyres look a bit more low profile than mine.

Those r the 19" Phoneix/Trinity wheels that comes with the L&K for the EU market, or as part of the Tech Pack here in Oz.

They have the std 235/40/19 rubber.

I like them very much as they do look classy, n certainly complements the Superb very well.

I love the Supernova rims too, but they were a way to expensive option for me back when I purchased the car.

What was the fit / finish like on that SS bumper protector?

I got one in chrome via Amazon which was a fail. It looks OK in the picture but it didn't fit that well (didn't match the contour of the bumper) & the sticky tape has now let go on the outer edges causing them to flex every time the tailgate opens & closes. I removed it yesterday.

IMG_0307[1].JPG

It fits really well. I had the chrome one on my last Superb, again from Superskoda. Black one matches the shiny black bits on the Sportline roofrails & mirrors.

Gloss black one is made from plastic, I'll take some better photos later

Thought about cleaning it ...
