Columbus Day/Night auto not working?

Featured Replies

Any advice? Even though my Columbus Sat Nav screen is set to "Auto" it never changes from Day to Night settings or vice versa. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks, Mike

Does it change when you set it manually to day and night?

New car owner? Was it ever working before? The Columbus gets the day/night data from the main computer (whether or not your headlights are on or not)

This has happened to me a couple of times over the last 8 years of owning the Superb. Always easily fixed by rebooting the Columbus. I don't know if the software glitches or what, but a reboot has never failed me.

Thanks all - it does work manually, but hasn't ever worked in my ownership - how do I reboot the Columbus?

Press and hold down the "<" and ">" and "i" buttons (so three buttons in total, but I think the "i" button might be labelled differently in later model Superbs - it's the button you press for repeating the last navigation voice prompt at any rate) and the unit should go black, turn off and reboot.
