Ok, not too long to wait until the Duxford meet.

Assuming the car park will be open (anyone know?), I'll try and get there for 9:30ish. So if we say 9:30 to 11 in the car park, will that fit in with people's plans? I'm aware that some people are driving quite a long way to make the meet, so we have to give them a chance to turn up before everyone else vanishes off inside somewhere...

So.....

a) Does the above times sound ok to you?

Any volunteers to get there early and keep me company (so to speak)

c) Anyone planning anything for late afternoon/evening? Drive? Retire to local pub?

I "was" going to just turn up on the morning and surprise everyone, but then I didn't know which car park was meant, so I posted to ask, then realised myself, edited that post, confused Howard, I tried a disclaimer, confused Howard some more... anyway - I reckon I'm going as it's only a 240 mile trip from Devon to Duxford, with me thinking it was a lot more than that.

Leave Devon 5.30am, gentle cruise should see me in Duxford by 9.30, and have one hell of a day. I also want to meet Denis, as long as he's not like Uncle Albert with his stories. I'll be interfering with his pacemaker using my sub, if he is.

oooh - If someone's bringing VAG.COM I wonder what little quirks I could have on my little machine. I'm not convinced I need auto-locking at xx mph, but it would be cool to have it anyway. (Woudn't Jabba work over-ride all ECU settings?)
