When I find out, I'll let you know.

There are probably 4,294,967,296 combinations of settings, one is ideal for me. But so far I haven't found it.

You haven't said which model of Superb you've got but... I've got an SE Tech with the Alcantara/Leather seats, electric and fully adjustable on the drivers side. It took me over 12 months to get it right but my problem was quite specific, it was the lumbar support. The passenger seat (which isn't electric) is perfect. Even now I feel the lumber support is a little too hard but any less and it causes discomfort elsewhere... For the first 12 months I would be squirming and moving around in the seat after as little as a 20 minute drive. I'm not sure if the lumbar support has softened a little, I've got more used to it, I've found a compromise, or a combination of all three?

Whilst I still feel that the lumbar support is a little too hard, I can say in all truth that even after a 3 - 4hr drive I no longer have any back ache or discomfort when I get out of the car.

Persevere and good luck.!!

Yea sorry it's an SE

There are a lot of threads on here about seat adjustment, so a search would be a good way forward. I'd recommend you start with this one from Rainmaker.

FWIW I'm on my third Superb and spent a lot of time in each getting the right position (usually a number of weeks or even months). One thing that might help if you have the electric seats with memory is to find something you think will be comfortable then save it in setting 1. Then drive and try to analyse where any discomfort is coming from. Adjust the offending area (base, back, lumbar support etc) and save to setting 2. Repeat until you find something that works for you. Also - as Rainmaker points out - don't forget the steering wheel position as part of the adjustment.

Like many on here I think there is almost too much choice and would welcome a default setting, but since we don't have one it's a case of trial and error. Once you get the right position, it's a very comfortable car and you should be getting out of it as fresh as when you get in. Good luck with it.

Good advice from @BriskodaJeff it's how I eventually found the right position. The guide provided by @Rainmaker is also very good and worth a read...

Overall I believe the car is too short in the footwell, that is why you can not get comfortable.

The new VW Arteon is the same, I think it is to do with getting internal space, I have found a position that I can live with but it's not perfect.  The numbers are all there, adjustable steering, electric seat adjustment but the pedals are too close or the steering column does not extend enough but the dash (radio) is a streach to use.

I wonder if it's the same for left hand drive models as the footwells seem to be different shapes?  Do we lose out with right hand drive cars?
