I have followed @Gizmo's instructions below on my MY18 Superb L&K and I wonder if someone might be able to help me by looking at the 2 pics attached and let me know what I need to change the longcode to in order to get the below 'tweak' enabled?

On a MY17 car the longcode needs to physically changed (in my case from 01 to 41) as there is no longer a tick box for Bit 6 and it was not possible to save the change in the Binary code.... PLEASE ONLY DO THIS IF YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO DO.

Try changing 0D to 4D. That's effectively ticking bit 6 as mentioned in the quote.
