The door and rear window heating are separately controlled. Also, IIRC they both automatically turn off after a certain amount of time.

Your photo shows the heated mirrors in the off position BTW.

I've already explained that error to you. It's to warn that one of the two comfort CAN-bus wires has a fault, this may cause performance issues on the CAN-bus but shouldn't cause any functional difference unless you also get fault codes about missing messages.

As JohnBoy mentioned, the switch is in the 'off' position, have you rotated it to the 'heat' position?

Are there any output tests you can try in the door mirrors?

Have you checked the resistance of each door mirror heating element as they can degrade and fail?

How are you testing to see if they are on?

What's the outside temperature? It needs to be cold enough before they'll turn on.

They should be connected directly to the door controllers so I don't think there are any other fuses/relays involved.

Good Morning John.

Sorry to say but the door mirror heaters are manual control only! They DO NOT turn off after a preset time as you had thought. It's been a topic on here before when people have suddenly found that the heater matrix behind (bonded to) the mirrors have failed as they have been left on. Lots of suggestions of how they could / should have been configured but that's the way they have been on the Yeti & others since they were introduced.........Tony

I stand corrected.

The rear window does though. ;)

how do i know which is canbus wire? some colour? is it thinner wire or wider diameter?

if i turn button on side with heater icon, nothing happens..

it is maybe by influence with outer temperature, it is autumn here like in england, no cold time yet, and no need mirrors to be heated yet..

i am wondering if them working only if outer temperature falls under...... some celisus..?

CAN-bus should always be a pair of thin wires twisted together.

Not sure what colour they'll be. I'd suggest you use erwin to find the wiring diagrams as the comfort CAN-bus will connect to quite a few modules...

hmmm i foung something:

It is fixed by finding the break in the CAN-Bus wiring. CAN-Bus wiring is made up of a twisted pair of wires to improve noise immunity. Your CAN-Bus is operating in a degraded state as one wire is broken. You need to look at the orange/green, orange/brown twisted pair.
