This is the fictitious 'Try It' screen & the fictitious Aux Htr option. image.thumb.png.6011123c8eab38947a354456c1effcc0.png

Then, after logging into your account, you should get something like this:

Mine only has Trip planner, Dealer and Settings... Not sure how to get the rest. How did you do it?

This is how it appeared when I originally set up/subscribed to Connect - it wasn't anything I particularly did. There are similar threads about being 'verified' or 'unverified' in relation to Connect accounts (do a search with these phrases). Even that doesn't mean diddlysquat, as when I contacted Skoda Customer Services to enquire about 'additional' Connect options when 'verified' I was told I had all the options available.  It might be worth giving them a call and explaining your situation. Sorry I can't be much more help.

I too have only three.

Setting the dealer doesn’t work for me. I can set it but it has no lasting effect.

if I access by browser or Android or IOS I get different options. In fact browser appears to let me choose RSS feeds.

I think i will phone SUK on Monday

Thanks though xxx

lol you have loads on that - mine's like the posting by @33q just devoid of much really

It might be helpful to know if our different experiences can be linked to the type of phone and the head unit type.

I’m using an iPhone XS with an Amundsen head unit and no separate data connection.

Sure, I'm using an iPhone 7 with the Columbus head unit and no separate data connection. Has even been known to connect to the house wi-fi, if the car's on the drive, if there's a full moon, and  if there's a favourable wind...

Found this

https://skoda-connect.com/portal/web/guest/terms-and-conditions/privacy

And this

http://www.skoda-auto.com/other/availability-list

Lot of services are descy in details. Yet not clear if they are functional and/or under which conditions etc. For instant there is Google Earth and  Gracenote listed as available in my country yet I don't have them in my car menu. Also, in second document, it is exply how it is possible to request car status via Connect app yet I don't have that option visible.

So it all is very unclear and underdelivered in my opinion. Much more promised in brochures and pre-sales marketing than available after you give money away.

Maybe we all should start putting pressure on Skoda Customer Service asking for availability of what is documented here. It is officially available documentation and it has a legal obligatory significance so Skoda may pay attention if more customers start asking for these things.

Who the hell would use Gracenote?

"I'll name that tune in....hey wait a minute...it's written on the screen....wow.... that's dab radio for you!"

Google earth is no longer available on Skoda connect, existing users will find it disappears over the next update or so.

Thanks for finding and providing those links.

I think the availability list is quite clear about the Aux Heating not being available in the UK and it does not seem to mention the remote locking feature. I remember that the dealer back in July mentioned that remote locking was a feature upgrade that might be provided later in the year.

Otherwise my Skoda Connect provides all the functionality listed and that I would expect

I get this error when trying to start from Skoda Connect the auxiliary heater and the ventilation.

It works by turning it on manually, in the vehicle.

I reinstalled the app, but the problem persists.

Later Edit:

I noticed that the same error I get for every other operation that requires live data exchange with the car.

I only get the 3 options with my new Karoq - I got it all connected last night, but there are no options to look at performance data etc on the app. Has anyone found a fix?

Do you have the Connect option enabled in the HU?  I found that setting and I disabled it and reenabled it, with the hope that my vehicle will become reachable from the app. I don't know if it had any effect, but now, sometimes, it works.

What else I did was to complain on app's page on Google Play. I got the following answer from Skoda:

We would like to help you on http://www.skoda.co.uk/about-us/contact-us or by pressing the button for the info call on the three-button module in your car. Your ŠKODA Connect App team

Maybe you can follow their indications.

I can't find a "Connect" setting to disable / re-enable I'm afraid - Where did you find on your unit?

The car appears on the web portal (skoda-connect.com), but the whole set up seems a bit flaky to me... I entered 3 new destinations on the portal last night and this morning the car couldn't see them to download them.....

That's what I get, and also it seems very flaky to use, it seems to connect when it feels like it, to be honest it's not worth the hassle as the only thing that sometimes works is the trip planner (if it feels like it)

I just started wandering who is developing that SW and systems for VAG (Skoda included, as I see other VAGs have similar level of 'satisfaction')... It is remarkable how so poor functionality are they capable to produce having so huge financial background.
