Octavia lights rising after suspension lowering..

Featured Replies

Morning guys,

My 10 plate Octavia VRS has been lowered about 30mm on front so now even at maximum height, beams still low... any idea how to rise them up a bit?

Cheers

Take it to a garage and have them adjust the headlight aim.

They will have a headlight beam alignment tool to make sure it's correct. Should only take 5 minutes and some may even do it for free.

It's possible at home using the white adjustment screws on the headlight but given you've got no idea where they should be aiming, a garage is a better plan.

Thanks pal, didn’t know I can get more height even if the in car setting is at max

@vrsdx57 - The thumb-wheel next to the panel dimmer is to lower the headlight aim when you have a heavy load in the boot (eg Mother in law ;) ). There are up-down left-right adjuster screws on the headlights for setting the base aim as Langers describes.
