If thats a video of the accident I don't wanna see it. I watched the first 10 seconds then all of a sudden I had an attack remembering everything about my crash too. :( :( :(

dont worry there is no footage of the actual crash. the cctv was not lookin in that direction. but harsh braking and hitting oil is the result of what you see :(

Looks fixable at least, providing that the airbags didnt deploy. If they have its most proberbly a write off.

Edit to add, I actually quiet like the music.

strange but the airbags didnt go off? probly cos the car was on an angle as it hit.

just think that after driving around on public roads doing such silly things for so long something was bound to go wrong. just glad no one was seriously hurt.

i don't understand how it happened though?? you mentioned heavy braking and oil, if you are braking heavy and come into contact with a slippery surface the car carries on in the same direction not turn left or right.

not if only 1 braking wheel enters the oil. and i was not being silly at all! i was on my way home to my girlfriends. i am very shaken from it and get freaked out when im in a car with someone now. thank you for your support.

New front bumper( + fogs?)

New bumper bar (looks angle grinded off?)

New nearside headlight, and offside actually.

Totalled rear left alloy?

Not sure what leaving on it stood on the rear left axle will do?

Bonnet escaped? New grill and badge, etc.

Nearside front wing.

Is it much worse than that?

so how come i didn't spin my car into a ditch 3 weeks ago when i had to brake heavy with one wheel on mud when a coach was speeding down a narrow road?

if just one wheel locks it doesn't make the car pull in any direction what so ever. now if all 4 wheels were locked and one suddenly gripped that would be a different matter.

no it wouldn't as the sudden action of being thrown round would be impossible to over come. but the ESP might save you from hitting a kerb whilst driving like a tit

Although I sympathise to a degree, after watching his other vids. it seems it was only a matter of time before something like this happened !

Thankfully nobody was hurt, but methinks excessive speed and 'showing off' were the causes of this.

I have a lot of sympathy with you Whelan, it's just a piece of metal that can be replaced, lives cant. I've had a few accidents now (not in my Fabia thankfully!) and both my cars where heavily damaged write off's.

It has taught me to drive a lot slower and i have also done an advanced driver course since which has made me a lot more cautious.

But at the same time as having sympathy for you and the car i have seen a few of your vids posted on here which if i'm being perfectly honest (and i hope you take this in the right way, not as a dig) were pretty dangerous.

chill out with your driving mate, if not for your own sake let it be for others because next time you might not be so lucky.

round the corner from me there is a slight downhill main road with manhole covers that regularly set off my abs or lock up wheels in cars without abs when its wet. i'm not trying to act like a saint because i know i'm not and i have my mad moments but come on hold your hands up and admit when your wrong will ya, people will treat you better if you do!

Thank you! I understand totally! this incident has made me realise just how quick somethin can go wrong. i was not doing any stunts or showing off for cameras as there was none, it was an acident but i do admit some of my other videos wer OTT and im so glad nothing happend at the time of them. I found my self holding onto the handle of the door when my girlfriends dad was taking me home and feeling a bit scared when he was accelerating!:confused: i never thought i would be affected by something like this but look at me now!

im never going to do a video like my past ones ever again. or drive in that way. im lucky to be alive and i feel like i have deffo learnt something from this. maybe even gone from boy racer to a man. thanks:thumbup:
