My bad day

You didn't Jack Knife then; the vehichle has to bend 90* for it to be classed as jack knifed' date=' hence it usually only happens to articulated trucks. Not trying to be funny BTW just found the statement confusing.

Good point, thanks for the correction

If someone is ashamed of something it's not normal IMO to make a fully edited and soundtracked video.

Again another good point, never really thought about that

Most people do drive like a twit at some point and plenty of people have accidents whilst doing so, I just don't think the OP has put himself across particularly well.

My god a full house! another valid point.

I still feel sorry for the lad though and IMO only I think certain members on here could of been a litte more sympathetic.

I can agree with that.

...I'm looking forward to posting my video on google soon. That should give you something to have a rant about....

WHAT VIDEO :D

also sorry to hear bout the accident Glad no one got hurt.

I almost tipped a car over when driving at 25mph down a national speed limit road

I had foam stuff in my tyres on my old sierra and had to drive around less then 30MPH for about 40miles.

so took a mate round some lanes really slowly with tractors overtaking us

and playing classical music.

Then I lost a bit of concentration singing along to some Beethoven hit a grass verge and almost went over.

luckily no snails where harmed in this incident and car was fine after (well it was growing grass from underneath)

I wasn't driving like a loon or fast just lost concentration for a second

and thats all it takes

so all you have to do is change the radio, look at a young girl, wave to mates and you can have an accident

Nothing is worse than when the car does something that you are not expecting. *touch wood* I've only had one accident at very very very low speed due to poor weather conditions added with being a new driver. It taught me a valuable lesson.

I think maybe you was being abit of a tool, and it's your own fault, maybe members should be abit more sympathetic but we are all human after all.

I've seen alot of fabia's that have been smashed up lately I'm just hoping that it will not bump up my insurance!

Learn from it and live with it

I've seen alot of fabia's that have been smashed up lately I'm just hoping that it will not bump up my insurance!

Unfortunately it appears a lot of "younger" drivers are now getting them. I am only 21 and I have a friend who just test drove one with a view to buy and he's only 18.

I suppose it's because in an ironic fasion it's actually got some kudos now, couple that with low running costs, insurance and tax and it could well be on it's way to becoming the new Saxo of it's generation.

I reguarly see 2 or 3 vRS's with young lads in around Selby near where I used to live all with the cripple hook action, seat fully reclined and the burberry cap. They all seem to meet at Chavdonalds and go racing (literally bumper to bumper) down the selby bypass each evening.

Someone is going to die.

@Whelan, you might want to change your signiture mate. I think people are postings these comments due to an accumulation of mis-information, previous video's, and your signiture boasting your cars speed & doing a powerslide ( once again please take this as a positive comment  ) .

indeed all your youngsters will push up my insurance................gee I'd never thought I'd say that

Down south I have no problems in my fabia, infact it's the perfect sleeper. But when I'm up north I get nout but hassle of kids in there paxo/clio buzz boxes. I guess they have "raced" with the kids in fabia's and wanna try it on again.

do we give sympathy to people who steal peoples cars and crash in the same manner? No we don't

the making of the video and previous things he has done don't give me any other options except not giving sympathy and shouting "idiot"

I still feel sorry for the lad though and IMO only I think certain members on here could of been a litte more sympathetic.

No sympathy deserved in my opinion, if you are gonna drive around like a complete ******, and worse yet video it becuase your soooo cooool, then ya deserve what ya get.

I haven't read the rest of the thread, the video was enough for me to work out he was being a pillock, i hope no one else was injured or invloved.

To be honest I hope the cars a right off.

I actually didn't think boy racing ch4vs drove vRS' guess I was wrong.

lol very harsh mate about righting off his car......

but maybe he will appreciate his next car more if it did happen.

you have seriously avaded your resposibilities when driving your car but avoided avading the barrier!

Harsh maybe but it just ****es me off. There is a big difference between driving briskly but safely (not going rediculous speeds, slowly properly for corners, not being a pillock in populated areas etc) and driving like a complete loon.

I think the 'look at me' episodes in the car park says it all really.

thank you to everyone.

A detailed insite:

..........I jammed on the brakes to stop and tell them to get this idiot off site only to have the rear and allready on its way out(due to turning off the round about quickly)' date=' i held some what of a controlled skid

.[/quote']

Whats a controlled skid then ?

how would you stop and ask the security gaurds to get rid of them if he was infront???

he would have driving away. shows he is either thick or making it up

To be honest, I think the guy has taken enough of a pounding, its becoming painful and wearing. dont flog a dead horse!

smashing into a railing doesn't suggest there was anything 'controlled' about it.

I havent seen the video yet as I'm at work - what (briefly) does it show?

To be honest, I think the guy has taken enough of a pounding, its becoming painful and wearing. dont flog a dead horse!

very true Mr Big is right, I'm sure he WILL learn from his mistakes

Lets face it though, in reality the only thing he wnt be doing again is telling Briskoda that he's crashed.

watch the video m8 you'll understand.

watch the video m8 you'll understand.

Also make sure you have the sound on to fully appreciate the work that's gone into it and take note that this video was posted only 2 days after the incident.

this_thread_rocks.jpg

Sorry to hear about the crash and glad to hear nobody was hurt, hope everything goes ok and that you get the car sorted out

can we all Chill please

No one got hurt and he is learning by his mistake

it's his car in the video's and they all look like controlled conditions

he broke his car and his insurance renewall will be affected

he's Got insurance, Tax, MOT,

so why be so nasty.

this sort of reaction from everyone slagging him off, is more likely to make him feel F*** Y** and drive even more like a loon.

he broke his car and his insurance renewall will be affected

I agree mostly, apart from it will affect us all, in the sense the more claims like this one on fabia vRS the higher the risk it will become, there by increasing the cost to all that insure one.

Well atleast that's just how I see it

got nothing to do with it for me, I don't particularly fancy driving through town one night only to find some incosiderate **** coming hurtling round a corner lose it and smash into me.

The car park thing fair enough is a fairly controlled environment as it were late and no one around but it just shows his type of peronsality.
