i ran black stuff pads on the R19 with a 288mm disc upgrade and at anything but nutter pace they sounded like a spitfire fly by when braking...

bloody good at full chat though... not sure i'd recommend them for daily driving.

I was quite pleased with myself when I managed to get the rear brakes smoking heavily after a few laps of Knockhill :D Standard pads. Plenty of clag from the fronts as well (Pagid green) :thumbup:

i've just got new front discs and pads for the front of my octy (1.9 tdi), £64.00 delivered. i had to take a wheel off and measure the disc to see whether it was 280mm or 288mm, and check to see if i had a sensor wire, and to check the shape of the pads.

thats for quinten hazel discs, and mintex pads with the sensor wire on.
