Hi guys

 

My power steering is making a creaking noise when it nears full lock. I've checked the fluid levels and topped that up but the problem still exists. Will this be a new power steering pump? Or is there something that's worth checking first?

Also has anyone bought a second hand pump from ebay? They're dirt cheap compared to euro car parts so wondering if its worth the risk. 

It's more likely to be the rack that's creaking rather than the pump, check it for evidence of leakage.

Hello, I also had a similar problem. I replaced the steering pump and the battery. However, it still has electrical problems. The steering feels somethimes very stiff and the lights sometimes looses power and starts to variate its lightness.
