Here you go then:

Oh look , right at the end of the vid, a Police Yeti, in action. Yay Yetis!

Can't think of anything else to say about it really.

Here's another mention to please the OP. Perhaps the Police Yeti was chasing the uninsured Morgan who was attempting a Police Interceptor style escape but didn't anticipate help arriving for the rapid Police Yeti chase in the form of a French hatchback who assumed the Dukes of Hazard County (Prince Phil) was leaving the scene of an accident with his son Charlie at the wheel.

Yeah, but which is more interesting: a Peugeot and a Morgan demonstrating Rule 34, or a battenburg parking behind a parked Peugeot?

Link.

And in that streetview shot we can see the sensible way to exit onto that road.  i.e. Wait in the middle until white van man goes past at warp speed before pulling out.  Regardless of who's legally, or insurance wise, to blame, when behind the wheel of a car you have to take responsibility for your own safety and that of those around you.  The Morgan driver did neither.

It's nice to see a police Yeti, but I'll bet it's long gone out of the fleet by now, the local council social services round here are still using some Yetis with 4wd in outlying areas.

The Police Yeti HX64 FCF has an overdue MOT since 2017.  So maybe still a Police Car then.

Maybe with Police Scotland now as not only do MOT's not matter, sometimes keeping them to a MOT pass standard does not.

If you think about it slap a bit more Ash over the driver's compartment in a Morgan and you have a very useful coffin.:giggle:

Sorry, chaps - all my fault.  I probably should have posted this into one of the existing topics about liveried and 'official' Yetis.  https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/393271-yeti-taxi/ was the latest, only last February.  I should have remembered.

The Mods might have moved it if asked.  It would have been rather less conspicuous and, erm, debatable in the context of Yeti applications and aesthetics - but then we would have missed all the interesting speculation about the accident, wouldn't we?

We'll let you off on this occassion! :)

Looking at the road signs on Google Maps reveals it to be National Speed Limit at the time Google were there. Clearly some time before (or after) the crash as the road markings are now different.

The Streetview photos are dated March 2010 (there's a timestamp on the wee window at the top left).  The YouTube footage was posted in April 2017.  Even if he waited a while to post it, the reg of the police Yeti (desperate attempt to keep the thread vaguely on-topic) dates the footage at least four years later that the Streetview photos.  I suspect that this was not the first accident at this spot, and the re-marking and re-signing of the junction and the introduction of the 50mph speed limit were an attempt to reduce the frequency of such occurrences.

Didn't work very well on the occasion caught on film, but unfortunately there's only so much you can do to try to protect innocent parties from the behaviour of idiots.
