  • Amazing guide @JR RS and this helped me out massively.    Just a few things I wanted to add to this, if you are met with High beam shutter faults after the conversion as shown in the picture

hello. I only need the eyelashes. The lamps are in the car with part number “b” with the original lamp modules with part number “a”. The eyelashes work but my reflectors don’t. What should I do in this case?

I don't understand - u say original lamps r version B, but then u say original lamps r version A.

Which one is it?

U say u need eyelashes, but then u say ur eyelashes work.

Which one is it?

Wat do u mean by reflectors?

Is ur car a pre-facelift or facelift?

2016 09 factory date

I usually replace factory “a” part number headlights into a “b” part number ones.

My original headlights “a” part number ndings.

The eyelashes coding is okay but my high beam is not working

I don't want automatic lights, just the Eyelashes.

Is there a solution for this?

I transferred all the modules from the old lamp.

Sry my bad english

You have To replace the Controller in the Lights

@Kriszfabia - as @Cairus mentioned above, u need to replace the light control module (LCM).

The one that comes with version A headlights does not know how to control the high beams on version B headlights.

Hence u'll need to replace LCM if u want ur high beams to work again.

Control module for version A is 8U0 941 329.

Control module for version B is 4H0 941 329

Hello guys.
Thanks to JR RS guideline I made a change of headlights.Difference is that I have unit 55 instead of 4B.

I uploaded parameters via ODIS from car which had SLA from factory.Only topic which I have is the coding of Slave units.I am not able to change it via master to the correct value B30000 .As a result,my High beams are not working and there are faults that the units are incorrectly coded. Is there anybody who can help? Thanks

Hi mate, could you please send me the dataset for unit 55? I have been looking for it for quite some time.

the headlight plug on version B had slightly different pin arrangements, however the wiring harness from the car to it had that covered. i.e. it wasn't blank and had a matching wiring to the pin.

Hi JR RS, could you please give more details about this?
Is the wiring/pin order in the wiring harness different for B headlights than the A ones? Or are they 100% plug n play?
