This is really getting on my wick now,it seems Skoda have made a change so the drive mode resets to normal after the ignition is switched off. Car is a MY19, my wife's MY18 doesn't do this. 

 

I don't suppose anyone with VCDS etc could take a look on their car to see if it's something we can change back again?

This has been discussed on here a few weeks ago - the outcome was confirmation from Skoda UK that the firmware has been changed to revert to Normal in order to meet the WLTP emissions requirements, and as of today nobody has found any VCDS tweak to stop this.

The one that’s gettimg on my wick is that when you switch traction control off and esc off it still switches back on at 60mph. !!! 

Have managed to get vcds to code so it switches off completely on a long press of the button which is great but still comes back on at 60. 

Most likely the new regs require these setting to be 'locked' bytes in the firmware. The firmware will be locked by a checksum. 

So be careful not to 'brick' your cars electronics.

What about setting it to individual? Does that still reset to normal?
