2014 spaceback hatch open warning light on but hatch secure. Is there an obvious switch somewhere which might be sticking? Or, due to the wonders of canbus, could it be something else completely unrelated?

Switch is in the boot opening near the tail lights I think - there is certainly something that looks like a push button

Thanks for the reply, thought I was all alone here.

No switches on this one but 3 wires coming out of boot latch on tailgate so I'm guessing there's a micro switch hiding in there somewhere.
