Might be specification dependant and or year dependant.

my L &K has heated front and rear seats (well, heated and cooled front to be more exact).

but then again the L & K does come with its own butler 😂😂

Depends on specification.

As mentioned, if fitted, they are turned on left/right independently by switches on aircon panel. Three temperature settings.

If you have ventilated seats the settings appear briefly on the infotainment where they can also be adjusted.

If you have rear heated seats they are left/right independently controlled in the rear centre panel.

You can lock out the rear seat heating, for young ids etc, via the cabin conditioning screen.

Not all have heated seats.

Optional on some models.

Standard on others.

The superb is not full of gadgets and options by default.

if it has heated seats fitted, you'll see this button, right next to the temperature value.....

I think that screen only pops up if you have ventilated seats as well?

If you have only heated seats (without ventilation) then that screen pop ups as well.

Is that specific to the L&K as I don't get the screen with my heated seats on the Style euro spec?

ive got a 2018 Sportline 220 Tsi.

I've got heated seats but I had to add them as an option along with heated windscreen.  Worth the extra IMO.

The handbook states that the adjustment is in the infotainment display in vehicles with Heated and ventilated seats.

If they are only heated it is not.

It is not true. Look this is screen from Kodiaq which has only heated seats Screenshot_2025-09-08-21-49-14-13_fd6fbce00d64f2f965b49304dd1b2335.jpg

I guess your climate control unit doesn't support it. I had the same situation, once I changed unit to newer one with same coding these menus appeared

I have this unit: 565907044BG but on what model i must change ?

And what model you change on what i which car ?

Not visible on this 2021 screenshot, In your picture the seat graphic obscures three of the buttons on the climate screen, maybe you have to press the cog on the right?

On a recent trip, I've noticed I cannot alternate between heat/ventilation for the passenger, but it works fine for the driver. Diagnostics does not show any errors ... mistery.

that Kodiaq has a heated wheel and seats. The LCD screencaps shown earlier are for ventilated and heated seats.

This is not just a coding change, there needs to be elements in the seat covers and the wiring in place.

Ventilated seats are an L&K special, I think (but I didn't spec my car, so...). Ventilated seats always use perforated leather, I think, too.

I have heated rears in my current Kodiaq and I have had a heated wheel both in this and the Superb before it. That also had heated seats.

the logic:

  • if there's no heated wheel, there is no real reason for the button to do anything other than turn on seat heating at the level you set. Starts at 3, one press more to 2, one press more to 1, one press more to 0.

  • If there's a really simple radio installed, then there is no menu to be shown.

  • the menu is only relevant if you have the heated wheel, so you can tie them together; otherwise the menu is a "nice to have" but not essential.

  • I don't believe I can lock out seat heating for the rear. I could set a temperature if I had 3 zone climate, but I'd have to check on the heating.

i'd argue this is valid for both Superb and Kodiaq.

The seats are probably on CAN and talk to the system, so I'd expect any errors to be visible. There's also the coding for example for easy entry, so I would expect the acknowledgement that there is a fan in the seat to be listed there - and re-writing it may help. But no guarantees on that.

This menu should show as popup without click on cog button.

You are not right. I see also screen from other skoda which has only heated seats and show menu(without heated stering wheel)

I did say that - the pic appears also when you only have heated seats and the radio is a high level one.

There are Superbs out there with radios like the attached.

But what is the problem you are trying to solve?

Screenshot_20250910_200856_Firefox.jpg

Problem is that i have MIB 2.5 HIGH and i have heated seats and clima control 565907044BG and when enable heat seta no show this popup on mu MIB UNIT.

I have MIB2.5 High and heated/ventilated leather seats on my Superb, and when I press the Seats button on the Climatronic panel, I get the popup on the Infotainment screen to adjust the heating/ventilation levels.

Pic below is after I pressed both driver and passenger seat buttons.

@JR RS Yours appears to be a different infotainment unit than the one enquired about
