I have consulted my lingua franca to try and understand what your cruets are saying to each other. It says they are greeting each other in an Asian style?

My mum's saying was "you must have worms"!! 🪱

TBF I did overdo the veg & spuds a bit but I can't stand to see food go to waste. The Poussin was fairly small & about the same as half a regular chicken & it was my only meal of the day short of two slices of toast & Marmite for breakfast.

I'm fasting tonight in readiness for a blowout Sunday Pub Roast tomorrow.

A bag of peanuts & a few beers watching the footie later & that will be all she wrote tonight.🥜

Might have a slice or two of toast & marmite as well.

I'm having a 'low' food day. I had crumpets for brunch and Heinz Tomtom soup, with Hovis brown bread and thinly sliced ham, sandwiches for tea.

No tea for me tonight either. Still recovering from a Pub Sunday roast lunch.

Triple meat roast (Beef, Pork & Lamb) with all the trimmings followed by 3 scoop Gelato.

cottage pie mix (with quite a bit of red wine in it if I recall correctly-or was it me that had the red wine in her?)

Both if you use the Keith Floyd method of "pour a glass of wine into the dish, and the rest of the bottle into the chef".

I subscribe to a similar method. The main trouble I have is after making the mashed potato (baked potatoes, parsley and lurpak :) ) I find I start to eat the mash n its own. I could probably eat a plateful, meaning I'd have a dish of mince left over :D

running down the fridge and freezer as we're returning to check on the Cats and Pigs and hopefully eat some healthier foods 🤔

Your cruets, particularly the black one, look sad that you are going (I speak fluent cruet btw)

Fish pie for us, with a bit of broccoli for colour.  It's another of those meals we should have more often:

Minimalist tonight...

Venison burgers on Wholemeal Buns and a splat of BBQ sauce.

Tomorrow's will probably something that Brittany Ferries can muster at lunch time and tea will be snacks IF the shops are open as we arrive at 'le Chateau'..

I see the cruets are discussing your burgers and asking where the toppings are :D

Prawn risotto:

I'm in danger yet again of eating too healthily.  Luckily Mrs Gaz is out tonight and there's a big bag of cheese puffs in the cupboard, so dietary balance will be restored shortly.

I'll eat unhealthy for you Gaz.

Serious lack of anything that took my fancy in the cupboard or fridge tonight so a visit to the local Kebab takeaway was needed for a large Donna.

Given the amount of salad they provide with it I reckon it's fairly healthy 😉
