Central lock problem 5dr Felicia -98

Featured Replies

I have some problems with the central lock on the car. It's so that I can unlock the car on the driver's side but not lock it, but I can lock it on the passenger door.

Could it be the fault of the central locking motor in the driver's door or is there something else wrong?

When I turn the key in the driver's door to the lock position, nothing happens and there is no resistance either?

Are there 2 different keys for Felicia, one for the doors and one for the ignition lock?

No, unless previous owner changed the locks.

Remove the door panel on driver's side. Check mechanical links, actuator electrical connector (for corrosion), actuator itself.

Same problem here, happened few months ago

I can not lock from the drivers side but i can unlock.

The key (originally) is one for the ignition-door locks-gas tank.

If for some kind or reason will put a new cap on the tank then it comes with his own key.
