I would be interested to find out if anyone else has had problems with the lack of warning when the keyfob battery is low. I understand that I should get a warning on the dashboard but two of my keyfobs have completely stopped working without warning. This can be very disconcerting when away from home and though I know what to do in such an emergency, it still leaves me baffled why I did not get a warning. My local dealer cannot find a fault. Anyone got a suggestion?

I’ve had this without realising. Škoda even changed two fobs for me as we thought they were faulty. I only discovered today when it happened to my third original key and the first battery I tried was obviously too old/cheap. Put a brand new energiser in and it works again!
