J519 canbus upgrade

Hi

I have a 2008 Fabia MK2 5J pre facelift.

I want to upgrade my canbus to a 2.0 however my 1.6 canbus is fixed in to the j519 vehicle voltage control module, so I'm unable to swap it over.

I have looked at the preface voltage control module's and the connection harnesses are different, 2 large ones instead of multiple small ones.

Does anyone know if the canbus can be upgraded with vcds?

I have found a relay module which will translate the signal to a 2.0 that I saw on another thread on here which was they was successful in doing the job. 

I have attached a photo of the relay module.

I am happy to buy this and fit it.

My only concern is would the rns315 still be read on vcds to change any coding issues.
