could anyone tell me if 9jx20 ET41 wheels will fit a TSI220 estate please

 

have my eyes on a set, but would like to know if they fit before i risk a divorce.

 

i'm also assuming they would require 255/30/20 tyres to work

The setup doesn't look to bad indeed. Takes about 1cm more space inside wheel well, need to take a look in there and see if this room is available.

I’m gonna keep an eye on this because my sportline has 19” vega’s on at the moment but you can get a 20” version Of the same rim from superskoda with 8j and Et41. I reckon they’d look the mutts nuts on my lowered sportline 

@Pessimal are you keeping that Bentley cap or swapping? It would be much lols if you kept the Bentley cap. 

If I get them (it's a big if!) I would defiantly be keeping the bentley wheel caps.

When you consider that you can't fit chains to the standard wheels (you need a narrower set of wheels/tyres) I think you will need some spacers with these, unless of course you live somewhere like Arizona where there are no corners.

Can you legally drive that? When I asked for "permission" from dealer in Slovenia to get "legal worthy" paper for 245 tires on upgraded Pegasus Alloys ET44 / R18 - 235mm standard I was told its not possible to get this alloy/tires legally on road as its not safe. I'm just wondering if in other countries that works differently? Or am I missing something?

It has been done already, there a skoda sportline floating on some Skoda fans sites with the same Bentley wheels. I’ll try and find a pic.

Maybe a tad low for my taste, but that's the ballpark I wanna aim for

I don't like the offset look of wheel to arch, it just looks like tired/old/knackered springs on an old taxi to me (and plod) my mate gets a pull occasionally to check his car as it's 'so slammed' I believe that's impressive 🙄
