I haven't seen the back boxes on the 280 but mine had 2 huge ones and a big resonator! I think back box delete would be easily enough for your 280. The fabricator told me that the 1.5 was made so quiet that he had almost straight piped it and it still isn't super loud!

Probably similar size to 280 i would think as mine are quite big...

Dont want to spend huge amount of money as i only want it for better sound, i live on island 9x5 miles lol so 280 is overkill as is lol...my mates cupra 290 sounds sick as f**k after only resonator delete... But that won't work on superb sadly😔

I am a bit sad that I have no DSG blips even with a pretty much straight through pipe. It seems that this engine just doesn't produce the blips like my old VW did.

Must be upsetting but i like the way your motor sounds...280 does produce bit of a fart on up shift if you time it right around 4000rpm...but nothing like S3 or Golf R sadly 😔

I had the cupra r estate remus axle back system fitted to mine last week. (done by chriss fab shop on facebook)

The cupra boxes only have one exit pipe so i asked the fabricator to make something which would allow me to keep the original chrome tips, which he has done. He did a great job and the car sounds awesome. The dsg blips are everything i hoped they would be. The faster you go, the louder they are.

Downshifts crackle too, and all this is without having to use sports mode  (I'm at stage 2, so this will have played some part on the noise making).

I'm getting a custom one built from DKU performance in Walsall based on their reviews online (google, Facebooks etc) and I've been there to discuss options.

If money was not an issue then I would got one built by RS Fabrications.

So Bigeater, has moved on from the Remus exhaust, he's got a new one from Cobra which I haven't heard yet.

However the Remus one was one of the best I heard as it wasnt too loud, the setup was a trackslag decat dp into a non resonator section into the Remus axle back section, nice deep tone.

I have the res delete currently so its just he rear, do you know of any pictures fitted @Awesam ?

And..of course what happened to the Remus? Maybe it can be sold to tombee if not already.

I've asked for him some pics and unfortunately that got sold at least 1-2yrs ago

Just understand fitment etc
