Selling my ŠKODA fun pick up

Featured Replies

Hi guys am selling my ŠKODA fun pick up on eBay as spares or repairs if anyone needs any bits or wants to make her good again just needs some welding. Mechanically sound low milage

Hi Danz, welcome to brisky!

Just an fyi, you have to pay for classifieds section access or "Freedom" membership sub scription before you are allowed to post "for sale" threads or link, so a mod will be along shortly to remove the abive link for you ;)

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure on this but in the Classic Skoda section of the forum you might be able to advertise without the £5 Freedom membership.   A mod can correct that if wrong.

We allow Ebay links to sales in the Ebay Section only.

The Classic Section is free to post a full Ad without any Freedom membership requirements as a way of prolonging the life of the 'old' cars. :thumbup:

@RicardoM

I was reading the message above and wondered what @mac11irl was referring to with his thanks as I presumed I'd missed something.

Seemingly not though so maybe there's another, possibly innocent reason for your downvote?

Looking forward to hearing your comments. :thumbup:

@john999boy

I was admiring the sudden undue care of @mac11irl for the crime of @Danzmanz not paying the huge sum of £5 for Freedom membership. How dares @Danzmanz to not pay £5 as a Felicia Classic owner since @mac11irl pays it? 😎

On the other hand, since when it is mandatory to justify my reaction towards another post? I didn't see the same interest from you when I was downvoted in other topics...

@Danzmanz   Welcome to the forum & sorry for not spotting it was your first post.

I hope you get your car sold and maybe you can help members here with any knowledge, some do and some like @RicardoM can occasionally and other times they are on a windup.

Ehhh... i simply pointed out (in error i admit having not been aware of the classics exemption) to a new member that his for sale link would likely be removed as

A ) it was in the wrong forum section

B ) contained a "not allowed" ebay link

C ) the advertising fee (again my admitted error) had not been paid.

So, down voting my post and admission of error is actually pretty unnecessary and stupid. Yup, i pay my freedom sub because i like to help support the site and keep it running. If other choose not to it really doeant make sod difference to me...

Danzmanz, welcome again to the forum, good luck with your sale and ignore the occassional windup merchant you'll encounter, good eggs outweigh the others...

Your "admission of error" was fake since you couldn't resist adding an ironic "Nice one @ColinD" for making exceptions. It's called envy.

@Roottootemblowinootsoot

I can go on like that all day long if you keep flaming off-topic rants.

Well that quickly blew up didn't it!

@RicardoM You may not be aware but I don't look at every single post made on Briskoda.

However I was following this one as I have 'auto follow' on after having posted in a thread. Believe it or not but I thought you'd downvoted by mistake hence asking if there was an innocent reason for what looked to me, an unwarranted mistake on your part.

Any other downvotes given to your other posts haven't been given any interest whatsoever by me as I've not even noticed them.

It isn't mandatory to justify your reactions but, as you are a stickler for detail, I thought it worthy of a mention to you. This would have allowed you to correct (what I thought was) a mistake and the birds would continue chirping in the trees.

That I obviously got so wrong. :sadsmile:

Also, the OP's initial sales post was made in the wrong location so that would have been more noticeable to people than realising it would have been okay within the Classic Classifieds. If members don't frequent there then they aren't always aware that free sales posting is allowed there. That could be the reason for my attention being brought to it? When all the posts are in their relevant places then it makes for easier searching - wouldn't you agree?

@mac11irl wasn't aware of the Classics Rules as he has posted above and I'm sure his Freedom membership is inconsequential to the matter in hand.

There you have the crux of it. An innocent question by me which shamefully resulted in an OTT response.

Ah okay, i think i get it now...

My "Nice one" to Colin was actually meant as genuine..

As in thats a very nice touch on the forum, to relax the rules on paid content for the survival of the marque's heritage.

Im now done, because for welcome to brisky thread this has been fairly well and unnecessarily derailed..

I know that but I was talking about some very hot topics created by you and very dear to you about Brexit.
