An Octavia rear camera to avoid

Featured Replies

So seeing as my original feedback on AliExpress has vanished, here's a warning to you guys and girls...don't buy this ****ty rear view camera!

Fair enough it's cheap, but I've now had 2 that have lasted 10 months each. No outward signs of any issue, so presumably water has got inside it and wrecked the internals.

I have a very similar one but think its called Itchifanni or something 😀 its still working after a year, my complaint was that I had to generously slot the fixing holes so that the vehicle actually followed the trajectory lines.

I am OCD and reverse into a block paved drive (done by me) that is parallel to a kerb edging that cant be seen and at a slight angle to the wall of the building 1m from the driver, everytime I got out after a perfect parallel park it was at an angle to the paving, the reversing camera aids me better than the mirrors but only after I had re-aligned it.

Am I alone on my parking OCD?

I need one for the new Yeti so will avoid that one, there are loads to choose from for the price of a cup of tea and a bun.

Nope you are not alone...   I always park then before I switch off open the door to check I'm parallel to the paviour blocks on our drive and, if not, shunt back and forth until I am...
