DTUK Pedal box purchased

Featured Replies

Just joined the forum, Yes....I got the gearbox lag....so I have purchased the Pedal box plus directly from DTUK.

I will update when it arrives and is installed, I was very tempted to go for the tuning box also....maybe in the summer...

Some pictures of the installation would be great too, if you remember and get the chance...

Yep keep us updated on the pedal box as I've got the DTUK tuning box fitted on my 190tsi.

Oh, you didn't say what engine you have?

Anyone have experience of which insurers know what a pedalbox is, accept it, and don't charge a ludicrous amount when notified?

I'm insured with Highway part of LV group and there is no increase in premium as it there no increase in bhp and it just makes the throttle pedal more responsive

Oddly I had to switch from LV (the 'LV' branded insurance) to Highway insurance as they wouldn't cover a tuning and pedal box on my policy.  The Highway policy was found for me via a broker.
