S3 Superb - Comfort Indicators - Help Please!

Featured Replies

Can someone please give me the coding instructions MKIII Superb, to alter the indicators operation on our from three to five “blinks”?!

I managed this easily on our MKII but I can’t find the codes for the 3?

All help much appreciated... 👍🏻

I may be wrong but I think this option stopped working a while back 😞

On a Fabia 2, it had to be done via VSCD, if that helps.

It can still be done:

STG 09 Central electrical system

Access permission: 31347

Adaptation

IDE04923-ENG116587 Turn signal control - Komfortblinken Blinkzklen

Außenlicht_Blinker (previously turn signal control)

Comfort blink blinking cycles

New value between 2 and 5 possible

If these settings are not applied, once the light function in the Navi/radio to factory setting reset!

Thank you Gizmo, that’s perfect! If possible, could this be added to your VCDS Adaptations list for the S3?

One query - where you say these “If these settings are not applied”, do you mean if one were to pick say, 6 cycles, that it’ll revert to the standard factory 3 cycles?

On most (all?) cars I have done they didn’t change from 3 flashes until the factory reset was performed.

Ahh I see, so I have to reset the  lights to factory settings?

I thought it was the infotainment that needed resetting?

It's one of those things that catches loads of people out.

Yes to both of you, the factory reset is done via the infotainment system (you don’t need a full reset, just the lights)
