MK 3 Steering Wheel Fitment

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Simple question, will a MK3 flat bottomed steering wheel bolt onto a MK2?

See picture attached

Cheers

Yes it will, bare in mind you will need to code the multifunction buttons with VCDS if you want them to work with your car.

Thanks, I'm not worried about the function buttons. Can they be removed and have blanking plates put on?

Yes I think you can, or you can save yourself money and just buy a non MF version of that wheel you posted a picture of.

...And don't let some pain in the airbag gazzump you and buy it prior to you doing so... That just happened to me and the one I was watching!

What do you mean?

You bought an airbag aswell?

No, I posted a thread asking if a certain wheel would fit my car and my current airbag and whilst I got my answer, Someone purchased the wheel. I am hoping it was no-one here, saw my post and jumped in quick. Hope it was just coincidental that someone else happened to see and buy it.
