You Can See The Pool Of Oil In The Throttle Valve

I would say it normal for a car to use a little oil during the running in period and I don't think it's abnormal to have a small amount of oil in the I/C.

What you don't say is how much it's using.

It Has Used 1ltr 500 Mile

Don't VW say 1ltr per 1000 km.

Either way if it's onlyt 3k miles old then take it into the dealer for piece of mind. If it's ok they will say and if not then you save a big problem for yourself at a later date.

in the last rs i had it used 1/2 ltr in 17,000 mile from service to service, i was just after some advice and was wondering if anyone had the same problem, just been out in the car and a cloud of blue smoke came out for at lease 30 seconds after starting it. then it stoped.

the last rs i had was r***'d and did 40,000 mile and not a fault on it.

You may wish to edit your post a bit sharpish mate - the walls have ears and whilst your dealer may be your friend he's not the only one who reads this and he won't be paying the bill.
