Most are paid services. carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/skoda used to properly work for free but it's limited now to previously checked cars. Dealers in my experience have been happy to check VINs for me.

Its only curiosity really to see if there's anything i didn't realise about the car.

I think that because Im quite a new member currently I cannot seem to PM you, it won't allow it. Im assuming it would be daft to put the vin number on here? Or is that paranoid?

Can anyone check my VIN and see iff there shall be an rear-camera installed? In reality there is no camera installed, but maybe the wire-harness is laying there?

Hi, this is my first post after introduction. I'm trying to find the right brake disk sizes for my 2001 skoda superb mk2 estate 1.6tdi. Would that be possible to know that from the vin? I would appreciate if someone could help me out. My vin is

@Turbointercoolosis there may be a typo in that VIN, it isn't recognised.  The XX bit looks unusual, I think?

The year 2001 also looks a bit dodgy because the Superb MK2 didn't come out until 2008...and the Superb MK2 with 1.6TDI engine didn't come out until 2010. So it must be 2010 or later.

Sorry that was a typo. It's definitely 2011

You're right, I don't know what happened but I got my vin completely wrong. 

The correct vin is

Your fronts are PR 1ZA, 312 x 25

Rears  PR 1KS 272 x 10
