How to unlock skoda kodiaq with out keys

Featured Replies

anybody please help, i left both of my keys inside my skoda kadiaq car. please help to give solution about it. :(

Break the drivers side window and then get it replaced?

Contact a local car locksmith who does callouts?

contact a local scrote who will open it faster and doing less damage than a locksmith?? probably cheaper too...

moved to the kodiaq forum.

I didn't think modern cars; maybe only kessy, it was possible to lock with keys inside?

I'm not sure info such as the OP has requested should be posted openly.

I think there are plenty of darker places the whole VAG key/kessy, security model is well discussed and understood. Afterall the key on a kodiaq is likely the same circut board as your RS whatever.

Contact Skoda and ask.  I'm aware of a similar situation on a Volvo, where Volvo needed evidence of identity - and then opened the hatchback remotely.

I got 3 keys with my Kodiaq - is it possible you have a 3rd key somewhere?

Also attached to the keys was a tag with I suspect a Skoda dealer "digital" setting for a replacement key, such as: A1234567 - might you have retained that somewhere safe with your original purchase documentation that could assist you now?

How is that possible?

With Kessy, it shouldn't be possible?

With a conventional remote, maybe locked with door/boot open and threw the key inside before closing.

Perhaps the OP if he's around will kindly explain what happened.

To answer OP's question though, call Skoda Assistance on 0800 526 625 and they will.....assist!

surely if the key is in the car just open the door ?

Perhaps the OP does not have kessy?

Didn't see that! :giggle:

But they (or rather the local version) may be able to remote unlock it if the vehicle is internet connected as someone suggested earlier. No idea if that is possible.

Doesn't look as if the OP is going to update us....

Does the skoda app have a remote lock/unlock option?

Yes - but you have to have it activated when you buy can and subscribe...

Anybody else find it strange that the OP has not logged onto the forum since they left the first post in this thread?

I think he got his door opened and no need for help anymore.

This is the first idea.Second is, maybe they cut the internet off the Brunei.

OP gone AWOL

All that needed to be done is get a locksmith to get shimmy some stick sorta thing to press the ignition then lock button...

Apparently the M21's are getting the new key fobs that only respond to the radio if they've been in motion for the past 5 mins.  This was introduced to stop the relay-attack.

So I guess in that case you'd need to add a step of shake-car first :)  I wonder how much wobbling is required.
