Just watched the feature race. The team whose driver is always hyper aggressive on lap 1 are seemingly very upset that it didn't go all his way this time. Maybe he shouldn't run the opposition off or

Another corking race...

Well happy for Ocon..

Vettel may lose second over insufficient fuel for a sample!

Astons slow pit stop ruined their chance to win...

Now they've been disqualified from 2nd place as well.

Red Bull now in some engine trouble for the rest of season. Max had to take his last engine for this race, and Checos was destroyed today, meaning he takes his last engine at the next event. They're looking at grid penalties later in the year.

Terrible error- with lucky consequences for Mercedes, I mean Lando was close to taking out Hamilton, but hit Verstappen instead. Bo77as and Lance both slammed with 5 place grid penalties at the next event for their part in the turn 1 crashes.

Mugello could replace Istanbul. Both great tracks.

Perez re- contracted for 2022 by RBR.

Max fastest in FP2 then has minor crash.

Well, Mr Russell may have just put pen to paper in a virtual sense. Astonishing result in qually 3

Great drive. Not the first time a "poor" chassis in dry conditions has shone here in the wet but mega driving too.

Mercedes say the driver choice is done for 2022. Do they value the Constructors Cup more than keeping Lewis happy? Sure we'll know soon.

We still have that bet :D

Calling that a "motor race" was a complete nonsense: 3 parade laps is not a race.

Farcical to put the driver's at risk and also then give out points based on no racing laps at all. The FIA race director needs firing. I remember it happened quite recently to Indycars race director/safety boss when the teams deemed him incompetent.

Given that standing F1 rules had to be changed to get the race started, will any teams protest the result? Alfa and Haas could be tempted given the points haul Williams collected?

I just hope that the outcomes of the WDC and/or WCC aren’t decided by these (imo) meaningless points.

Who got the fastest lap point?  The safety car?

But having said that, I’m pleased that Russell’s and Williams’ efforts on Saturday weren’t wasted.

On that basis, Berndt Maylander is 16th in the driver standings, 1 point behind George Russell! :)

That seems fair, as he’s led a good few laps this year!

They certainly dragged it out as long as possible before starting the farce of a couple of parade laps, before giving the half points based on qualifying positions. Shouldn’t the safety car got first place and fastest lap? 😊

@Baxlin and myself just said that!

Hamilton has called them out for getting the mandatory 2 laps minimum to avoid fan refunds (he might have sung a different tune if he had 'won' of course?).

Kubica to race Alfa, as Kimi positive for C-19.

Track looks so narrow. How many safety cars on Sunday?

Hopefully next year’s regs will help sort F1 out.  Currently, it seems they are aiming for processions, what with wide cars having aerodynamics that don’t allow close up following, and “it’s always been hard to overtake on this track” circuits.

Last week’s debacle

^^^. Disregard ‘last week’s debacle’ comment.  🤫

It looks like a one lane track, a faster Hungaroring if you like, but I think overtaking will be a major issue. If only Assen had won the Dutch GP?

At least Pirelli have brought tires that can survive the banking, unlike Michelin at Indy 2005, but 6 red flags during yesterday's programme doesnt really bode well for todays main event.
