The lorry driver hasn't lifted his middle axle. Doing this would transfer tonnes more weight onto the driven axle resulting in the lorry not getting stuck.

I think it was already raised, those wheels were not turning when it was rolling.

 

Not so sure now, some of the time they look to be, some not, my eyesight isn't good enough to be sure.
