Week 37 is here and last Tuesday I was at last told that my car has already been built and has transport assigned. They told me that it is transported by train instead of truck (whatever that means, as I suppose several transport methods are used anyway) and that it could take up to one and a half months to arrive to the dealer. Light at the end of the tunnel...

I was actually at the dealer yesterday to sign some paperwork, but the car is still waiting for transport at the moment. If it isn’t loaded tomorrow, then it will be another 10 days before it’s ready at the dealers… It’s just my luck, usually this stage happens fast, but here I am, stuck again 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for this update 😊 you mentioned that it is ready for transport, did they say ready for transport in CZ at factory or here in Slovenia somewhere? I forgot where you ordered your Octavia, what is the dealer called?

I ordered at Porsche Verovskova, and car is ready for transport in factory, it’s not in Slovenia yet, unfortunately. I wouldn’t bet on tomorrow with my luck 😉

All quiet here, it was supposed to be buzzing with deliveries by now 😉

My car is still waiting for transport, so delivery next week is now out of question. I guess there is one thing you can count on with Škoda: there will be plenty of waiting 😁

My car was still showing "waiting transport from factory" status on 05.09. and it came to Croatia on 08. or 09.09.. Now it is still waiting for transport from the importer to the dealer within the same country 🙄

Same here...
Confirmed completed car on August 31st, paid in full the same day, still waiting for transport from factory to the Romanian customs hub - that's by train. From there to the dealer it's again an unknown waiting time, since I heard there's a shortage of transport truck drivers. And it's quite obvious the dealer will not pay extra to transport a single car on a smaller platform.
Therefore I'm not expecting the car to be here in the beginning of October; maybe with some luck around mid-October...
And when you know how short the distance between Mlada-Boleslav and Romania is, the long wait is really annoying!

Ok so after being given a “provisional build week of 12th sept” 

I surprisingly got an email Sept 13th to say my car was complete and currently waiting shipment to the UK from a port In Germany. And to expect delivery mid October. 
I’m as shocked as everyone else. 
 

I will update the spreadsheet.

yes, it was worth the wait for me, just because I didn't need the car right away. I was able to fix all the other things in my Rapid. And the car is great. and after checking rise of prices every motnh i was happier that i did decide that day to confimr order.

I got a Škoda sign on the door and it's projected onto the floor and lots of other stuff. Which I didn't think I'd get.

The only major mistake is that I ordered a blind spot and didn't get it. I already informed my seller and he said he will inform the Slovenian importer. And I won't let it go easily.

I will only request the installation of this equipment, I will not agree to a refund in any way

Keep your head. I know a guy who retrofitted that on mk7.5 golf and it was not hard.

as far i hope and think they just need to connect pc on and turn it on and change side mirrors, because as i saw on the internet is connected to rear parking sensor on each far side.

i was at first realy angry but then i have all right to get i did order and start paying for it  so i will get it
