Does anybody know what might be wrong

Might be a silly question but did you try them with the lights turned on?

Yes have done but won’t pop out no motor noise

I went to the dealer he refused to tell me what might be wrong he said who needs them just waste washer fluid

that's telling you there is a short on the ignition live circuit it also says its only happened twice

How can I find and fix it

check the basics first fuses and  continuity of wires  but it sounds like and i don't mean to be nasty but you may need to let some one look at it that is qualified

All fuses are good

Didn't u say u recently had one of ur headlights replaced?

Whoever did that has likely done something to the wiring/connector for the bumper electrics.

An "Open Circuit" usually means it's not connected or unplugged, or the wire is cut/damaged.

The problem was there when I bought the car a year ago with no collision on it the jets can manually move out no motor noise or anything have taken the little green relay and swapped did nothing allthough a pin in the relay seems loose do u have the wiring diagram by any chance I know an electrician that’s good in far electrics if u have the diagram that would be awesome

Don't the headlight washers pop up using water pressure, not a motor?

Correct :)

The wires to the water pump may be damaged or disconnected. That's certainly where I'd start checking.

I know this might sound daft, but how much washer fluid is in the tank?  Most cars i've seen with headlight washers, they'll quit working when the fluid level gets to 1/3 or 1/4 tank left so you still have fluid to scoosh the windscreen with.

@langers2khow can I gain access to it

To erwin?

Sign up, pay some money (€7 + tax for an hour), enter your VIN and download everything you can :)

It should be possible to get all the workshop and wiring diagrams for your car in that time with a decent internet connection.

There was one plug disconnected from previous owner attached it and it works

  • 3 months later...

@Andrea11 which plug was disconnected. I'm having the same trouble code.

Might be an idea to PM Andrea11, as he may not be watching this thread and a PM will send him an email notification…
