I hate the stock steering wheel on my fabia and I really like the  vrs one, trouble is they’re rare, there’s one available at the moment but it’s an octavia one, would it still fit? It looks very similar 

100% yes. I have the Octavia one on mine.

You can put basically any steering wheel you want on from the VAG group, airbag would need a bit of wiring though.
