Has anyone had problems with the lexus lights on a Fabia vRS??

Featured Replies

As you can imagine, I recently purchased some lexus lights for my vRS only to find they didn't work. They were bought new from ebay from amber performance who ended up refunding them as they wouldn't work at all - all the lights were going off at the wrong time and the warning light kept beeping on the dashboard!! :thumbdwn: Has anyone had the same problem or has some which actually work??!!!!!

They looked awesome but you can't exactly drive down the road with your foglight on and your reverse lights blinking when you touch the brakes with one brake light not working at all!!!

The original lights are back on (for the time being!) and are working perfectly fine!

Stick with the originals.

You know it makes sence.

i concur, spend the money on something useful (for the car of coarse)

It's a matter of personal preference, but I would get rid of them TBH.

I have had problems with the lexus lights on all cars.

They look bloody awful on anything except a lexus, oh and so many of them have indicaotrs wired to brakes or falsh on and off randomly.

Stick to the standard and get strut braces, Green Cotton and a PD160 Tube :)

Not had any problems with mine, which came from Milotec.

And I still think they are an improvement on the originals, which is why I fitted them.

Don't dare put those pieces of sh!t on your car. They look cr@p.

ill answer your question. i had to play with the connectors to get mine to stop doing exactly what your on about. no lights were working on their own and all going off at the same time. i unplugged both lights and connected them up again and they work fine now.

my blacked out clusters work OK, but as they use individual sockets, (not a 4 way strip like oem) it took a little time to work out which one was for which action (and which bulb was the right one for each action)

Got there in the end, and they're working fine now. :)

Bought some off ebay for my old Peugeot 307 - absolute load of shi** - nothing worked as it should despite the auction saying these were 'the ones to get' and 'don't buy off anyone else as theirs are inferior' and 'these comply to british standard ISO 666' and all that crap. :thumbdwn:

80 quid down the drain.

Stilll - managed to sell them on at a car boot sale for 70 so not too diasappointed....:D

Well, I think mine look fine, and they came from a Briskodian who had them working fine so I think they're spot on for me. :)

Indeed! what I really wanted was the 3d block lights which a mate at work has on his Type-R.....we don't seem to have the same product range as other manufacturers - strange that!
